Job Description

Support regional leadership in delivering business, analytical and financial insights focused on Visa’s Value Added Services P&L (Revenues and expenses). Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand trends and strategy. This is a unique opportunity and calls for an ambitious and hard-working professional who will focus on key components of Visa’s overall business and Value Added Services business unit.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience and analytical skills and be a self-motivated, highly collaborative team player. This position will be based in Visa’s Miami office.

Essential Functions

  • Directly support the LAC Value Added Services as Finance Business Partner, being the main point of contact for financial aspects and act as a bridge between global team, clusters and VAS team.
  • Lead the forecasting and budget process, creating financial models and forecasting infrastructure, driving alignment between LAC VAS team, clusters and collaborating with global teams.  
  • Create and maintain reporting infrastructure for revenues and expenses, and providing insights to the business on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare materials and present  the business performance to LAC and Global stakeholders
  • Partner with Billing and Accounting to understand details on actual revenues and expenses. Collaborate with those teams to streamline closing process and improve visibility and understanding of actuals across VAS revenues and expenses.
  • Manage the Card Benefits P&L, being the primary point of contact for the 5 clusters and global team about Card Benefits revenue and expenses.
  • Build strong knowledge of Visa's Value Added Services business through constant communication with partners across Finance and all other functions. Have understanding of business initiatives like pricing and new services and ensure alignment with global teams.
  • Ad-hoc FP&A requests and projects from business lines and the executive team

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
•15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
•Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, or related quantitative field, MBA and/or CFA preferred
•Expert skills in PowerPoint and MS Excel, including advanced application of pivot tables, macros and formulas and ability to quality check the work of others
•Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
•Experience designing financials dashboards to focus managerial attention
•Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management
•Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets
•Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
•Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables
•Enthusiastic work ethic, passion for learning, and acute professional curiosity, able to solve problems with balance of independence and well-solicited input
•Strong leadership skills generating support and momentum among functional peers
•Global or multi-national business experience preferred
•Fluency in English required, Spanish or Portuguese a plus

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 170,000.00 to 265,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
