Join the Walser Reconditioning Center, our largest operation that supports our dealerships from behind the scenes! All used vehicles travel through our reconditioning process, including detailing, dent removal, paint repair, and more. This facility maintains a fast pace due to the volume of vehicles passing through and the various departments involved. With a variety of makes and models to prepare, and a four-day work week to fit every schedule, we invite you to join the ever-changing reconditioning center!

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000/year

How do our CDL Drivers Drive Impact?

· Driving a company-owned truck, you will transport vehicles between the various Walser locations.

· Load, transport, and off-load Walser vehicles at various locations between our reconditioning facility, dealerships, and overflow lots.

· Carry out daily equipment inspections to ensure our transport operations run smoothly and safely

· Maintain all necessary DOT logs and documentation

· Be part of the team that's driving improved standards by continuously looking for ways to improve processes and improve a safe cycle time

· Keep the interior & exterior of the tractor clean.

· Lead by example and be an advocate for safe driving, acknowledging safety as a priority in all facets of the job

· Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values

· All other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned

• · Valid state-issued commercial driver's license Class A (CDL)
• · Ability to meet DOT-mandated medical qualification requirements and drug screen
• · Pass Driver Qualifications as per FMCSR’s (parts 383 and 391391.21)
• · Knowledge of loading/unloading of vehicles on an auto transport trailer and roll back is a plus
• · Knowledge of winching inoperable vehicles onto a roll back
• · Able to lift 40 lbs.
• · Proficiency in operating a 10-speed and or automatic transmission
• · Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• · Able to climb ladders, ramps etc.
• · Mechanical aptitude preferred, able to perform simple repairs to equipment.
• · Must have good communication skills, a positive attitude and a sense of urgency
