Sr. Role in Business Development (Forging Industry)

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 5 years

Location: Pune

JobType: full-time

This role will lead marketing and business development efforts for Open Die and Closed Die Hammer Forging operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive revenue and market share growth through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
  • Proven experience in Sales/Business Development within the forging industry or with forged components.
  • Exposure to business development across sectors such as Automotive, Railways, Defence, and related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Drive new business initiatives across Automotive, Railways, Defence, and other relevant sectors.
  • Understand and promote the capabilities of the forging processes, particularly open and closed die hammer forging.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to formulate effective business strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align sales goals with overall company objectives.
  • Define and track performance metrics, delivering actionable insights and regular reports to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company in industry forums and build long-term relationships with partners and clients.
