In this role, you will play a critical role in guiding the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance our consume operations.As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for advancing Scrum and Agile best practices within your team and across the product. You will facilitate and optimize the performance of cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of complex technology projects. Additionally, you will provide insight on metrics and raise risks and concerns on delivery for teams. This role involves working closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure strategic integration of processes that support key business initiatives. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community.In This Role, You Will• Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.• Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work.• Facilitate Agile ceremonies for teams including daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and more.• Support and educate stakeholders on Agile best practices including Product Owners on refinement and management of the product backlog.• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and solved collaboratively.• Act as a change agent that increases the productivity of the team and ensures deliverable quality.• Facilitate discussions on scrum team metrics to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance• Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.• Partner with stakeholders to identify and adhere to governance policies and corporate standards.• Collaborate with product owners, program, or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Required Qualifications:• 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 4+ Experience facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning backlog refinement and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban• 4+ years in managing, delivering JIRA boards and dashboardsDesired Qualifications:• 4+ years of end-to-end project execution• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence software• Scrum Master Certification i.e., CSM from Scrum Alliance or PSM from Scrum.org• 4+ years of agile experience, including both Scrum and Kanban• 3+ years agile coaching experience• Experience forming agile teams from the ground up• Ability to work with situations of ambiguity, conflict, and uncertainty in order drive outcomes forward• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills• Problem solving and conflict resolution ability• Banking and Financial Services experience• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Job Expectations and Core Values:• Establish and manage end-to-end delivery plans for initiatives/projects spanning multiple teams, lines of business and vendors. Orchestrate the overall delivery through incremental releases to test environments and production.• Partner closely with both our Product and Technology leaders for coordination across teams, lines of business and external vendors for on time delivery.• Manage risks, impediments, dependencies, within and across Line of Business and external/co-supplier/vendor teams.• Provide status report to stakeholders and leadership with context on delivery, delivery slips and impacts to timelines.• Partner with Tech/Business/Product stakeholders to ensure that all scaled agile events are setup.• Organize/plan/facilitate Scaled Agile Events such as Feature refinement, Discovery/design sessions, Defect Triage, Scrum of scrum etc.• Partner with other Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters to track release readiness/code deployments for key initiative milestones: eg integration testing, UAT, pre-PPV, PPV and Production.• Position may require collaboration with offshore Scrum Masters outside of working hours.• Position may require collaboration with business, support partners or other application partners off working hours to coordinate major releases on weekends.• Be Humble: You're smart yet always interested in learning from others.• Work Transparently: You always deal in an honest, direct, and transparent way.• Take Ownership: You embrace responsibility and find joy in having the answers.• Learn More: You regularly self-educate and improve your skill set.• Show Gratitude: You show appreciation and respect to those you work withThere is no visa sponsorship available for this role.Compensation for this role in NC, TX and MN is between $96,600 and $171,800 depending on experience and expertise.Compensation for this role in Concord CA is between $115,900 and $206,100 depending on experience and expertise.• Position may require collaboration with offshore Scrum Masters outside of working hours.• Position may require collaboration with business, support partners or other application partners off working hours to coordinate major releases on weekends.Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
