Skills
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn procedures and processes related to pipeline control.
Responsibilities
Remotely start/stop pumps, compressors, and operate valves.
Monitor and control the movement of products through multiple lines and facilities.
Monitor storage field activity.
Analyze changing conditions and alarms and make necessary adjustments.
Determine accurate timing of pipeline events such as deliveries and batches.
Detect abnormal operations quickly and react using critical judgement.
Coordinate pipeline integrity and maintenance activities with field personnel.
Communicate with field personnel, scheduling groups, customers, and suppliers to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
Education
Minimum of 60 college credit hours with relevant oil and gas field operations or plant experience, or relevant military air traffic control experience.
