Founding Growth Analytics & Data Lead

At Wispr Flow, we're building voice intelligence that truly understands you. Our team of designers, AI researchers, and engineers is crafting voice interfaces that are both useful and ubiquitous, paving the way for a future where voice-first experiences replace screen-first technologies.

Our first product, Wispr Flow, has become the first consumer voice dictation platform to break the keyboard barrier: making people use voice more than their keyboards.

As we scale, we’re investing in data as a growth lever — and we’re hiring our first analytics lead to help make Wispr a more measurable, intelligent, and optimized business. This position will establish the function that organizes and understands our exploding data across devices, events, ads and pixels.

THE ROLE (based in San Francisco only)

We’re looking for a hands-on, strategically oriented analytics lead to help us connect the dots between product usage, marketing performance, and revenue. You’ll build our reporting infrastructure (almost from the ground up), lead critical analysis projects, and make sure everyone from growth marketers to founders has the insights they need to move faster and make better decisions.

This is a foundational role — perfect for someone who loves building data systems, solving real business problems, and driving growth with insights.

Build Reporting & Dashboards

Build dashboards for marketing campaigns, CRM flows, funnel performance, and cohort behavior

Maintain core weekly/monthly reporting used by execs and board

Drive Growth Through Product Analytics

Work closely with Product and Growth to define key events and build funnels that reveal user intent and friction

Segment users by behavior, plan, and cohort to surface opportunities for personalization, targeting, and lifecycle campaigns

Quantify the impact of new features and product changes on core KPIs using robust experiment design and post-launch analysis

Use PostHog, Segment, Clickhouse and event-level data to tie product usage to revenue outcomes and recommend product-led growth strategies

Partner with Lifecycle and Product Marketing to help translate insights into smarter onboarding, nudges, and retention plays

Help shape our ICP by identifying which user types deliver the most value — and why

Run Ad Hoc Analyses to Guide Decisions

Answer tough questions like:“Where are we losing users in onboarding?”“What’s the true CAC by channel?”“Which features correlate with higher retention?”

Surface non-obvious insights that lead to growth or product changes

Support A/B test analysis and performance forecasting, owning Statistical Design and Post-Experiment Analysis.

Partner on Strategy and Optimization

Work with marketing to optimize ad spend, LTV, retention, and conversion

Reverse-ETL activation (Hightouch/Census) so insights actually power Customer.io, Meta CAPI, Google audiences, other platforms

Help identify customer segments or personas that perform differently and respond more to marketing initiatives

Support product and CX teams in understanding churn drivers and upgrade patterns

Support Internal & Board-Level Reporting

Build and maintain materials for board decks, investor updates, and fundraisingTranslate complex performance trends into simple, visual narratives
