Wonderschool is seeking a Growth & Retention Specialist to support childcare providers in enhancing their business success through coaching and leveraging the Wonderschool platform. This role involves mitigating churn and ensuring operational efficiency while driving growth for providers in Michigan.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include educating providers on using the platform, guiding them through growth milestones, addressing challenges of at-risk providers, conducting business coaching, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance retention.
Skills: Candidates should have experience in business coaching or customer success, strong understanding of small business operations and financial principles, and possess excellent communication skills.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of relevant experience, understanding of the early childcare industry, and an MBA; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Location: The position is based in Michigan, United States, and operates in a fully remote work environment.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $70,000 - $100,000.

As a Growth & Retention Specialist at Wonderschool, you will play a crucial role in supporting childcare providers in growing and sustaining successful businesses. You will act as a business coach, guiding providers on best practices, financial sustainability, and operational efficiency while ensuring they maximize the benefits of the Wonderschool platform. You will proactively engage with at-risk providers to mitigate churn and address challenges that may impact their retention. Additionally, you will have the ability to navigate difficult conversations with providers who may be struggling, working diligently to understand their concerns and implement strategies to improve their experience. This role is also crucial in meeting our government contractual obligations and driving provider-driven revenue growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, goal-oriented, empathetic, and skilled at problem-solving. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive efficiencies and scalability within the team and department. The role is based in San Francisco, CA.
