Data Entry / Customer Service Rep.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry/Customer Service Representative to join our team in New York. In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate data records while providing exceptional customer service support.

• Enter and maintain data in company databases with high accuracy and efficiency
• Process customer information, orders, and records in a timely manner
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Verify and validate data accuracy before entry
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Generate regular reports and documentation
• Handle basic customer service issues and escalate complex matters when necessary
• Perform quality checks on entered data
• Update customer records and maintain database integrity

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of data entry experience
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Proficient typing speed of at least 45-50 WPM
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively
• Professional phone etiquette
• Basic computer troubleshooting skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
