Zscaler is a leading cloud security company providing a trusted Zero Trust platform to protect enterprise users and data globally. They seek a Principal Software Engineer - UI with extensive front-end expertise to lead UI framework development and create cutting-edge user experiences.

Skills

Strong proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS including responsive and mobile-first design.
Experience with front-end build tools, package managers, monorepos, and version control systems such as Nx, npm, and Git.
Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and collaboration with design teams.
Knowledge of performance optimization, testing methodologies, and automation.
Familiarity with data visualization libraries like D3.js is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead development, maintenance, and architectural design of scalable UI components using ReactJS/TypeScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define vision and drive adoption of the design system.
Mentor engineers and enforce high code quality and testing standards.
Enhance UI component performance, accessibility, and usability while staying updated with trends.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the design system.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
