Staff Software Engineer - UI Automation

Zscaler is a leading cloud security company serving thousands of enterprises worldwide, seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer specializing in UI Automation to enhance the quality of its cybersecurity products. This role focuses on developing and integrating test automation frameworks for an improved user experience.

Skills

Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Java, or equivalent
Extensive experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
Proficiency with JavaScript-based test automation frameworks such as Jest, Cucumber, TestCafe, or Cypress
Experience with Git, code management tools, and modern IDEs like Visual Studio Code

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and deploy comprehensive testing tools and frameworks
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and establish continuous testing best practices
Perform thorough UI verifications including security, accessibility, and scale testing
Collaborate with front-end engineering and product teams on design, scope, and technical challenges
Define testing patterns and strategies to enhance test coverage and empower engineers

Education
