4 back-to-back rejections in a week after final stage interviews

I’ve been in a month-long process with 4 firms, all the way to the final stages. The feedback from all of them was that someone else had slightly better experience, but no one could explain what that experience was exactly. I’m just feeling crushed and losing all confidence. I’ve been applying for a year now, trying to leave a toxic job, but nothing seems to click. I interview really well, the interviewers seem to like me, but I always come second. There’s always someone else with just a little bit more.

I’m just venting here. I know I should keep applying and not lose hope, but it’s hard when you’re so close and keep losing to someone with a subjective preference.

If anyone has any encouraging thoughts or tips, I’d really appreciate it.
