Crackpot theory on ridiculous qualifications

they say it’s “just a template” or “copied from another role” but nah. it’s a built-in tolerance test. how much dumb can you handle before you snap? 😬
makes sense when you realize how many companies say they want “innovators” but hire whoever just smiles and nods through BS
Honestly I’ve had interviews where pushing back even slightly made the vibe shift. They don’t want critical thinkers, they want people who’ll stay quiet and take on 3 jobs for 1 salary
You know how job listings will say stuff like “10 yrs of experience with a tool that came out in 2019”?
What if that’s not just a mistake. What if they’re using that to test who’s willing to just deal with nonsense?
Like they don’t want smart people who push back, they want quiet, compliant hires. Could be totally wrong but it makes weird sense
