Netflix isn’t doing blanket remote anymore. it’s more teams decide. Some job listings list office locations because those roles need regular in-person collab. Others are still fully remote. Essentially it's a “flexible / role-dependent” model, not a remote-first one.
Yeah, Netflix has been shifting away from remote-first for a while now. They’ve been pushing more hybrid or in-office roles, especially for creative and leadership positions. definitely feels like they’re leaning back into office culture.
some roles still say “remote – US” but they’re rare and get flooded fast. worth applying if you find one tho
ngl I applied to one that said remote, got to the recruiter call and she was like “actually it’s LA-based now.” felt like a bait and switch 😩
friend works there and said they’ve been unofficially expected in office 2–3 days a week. even remote roles end up hybrid-ish real quick
While browsing Netflix’s job listings, I observed that about half are now associated with specific office locations. I was under the impression that Netflix supported remote work.
