you don’t owe anyone perfect technical answers in an interview especially not years ago. the fact that this person is still trying to tank your reputation says a LOT about them and nothing about you

So a few years ago I had a terrible interview. Bombed the technicals, wasn’t prepped, froze up. They even mocked me a bit like “you claim you worked at NASA but can’t explain X.” Whatever. I moved on.
Started my own tech biz, doing well, hadn’t thought about it in ages.
But recently TWO local companies I pitched to said they’d “seen my interview video.” Turns out the company I interviewed with had recorded it and shared it with others… WITH a letter basically warning people not to work with me.
Is that even legal?? These people aren’t even competitors! Just random businesses that hire grads from the company that interviewed me. Also found out the interviewer might’ve had a grudge. He’s posted weird stuff about women in STEM, bragged about reporting entrepreneurs to the tax office, and always seems to post passive-aggressive stuff right after I post good news. I literally just got audited too.
Feels like harassment. I’m digging more into it and will update soon.
