had an interview for an IT role at a hospital today. HR said it’d be a casual 30-minute chat, but when i got there, i was put in a small room with my back to the wall, facing a panel of five people all way too close to me.
they started rapid-fire questioning about gaps and past jobs. i tried steering the convo to the position, but it felt disrespectful with two trainees there and no heads-up about a panel.
i answered a few questions, then told them i wasn’t cool with this type of interview and walked out.
everyone was shocked, including me. world record for shortest interview? 😅
