Thousands... *sigh* some of which a trained monkey could do for 45k a year. The added insult to injury is trying to ask for that is considered too greedy even though it's literally comparable to a 1980s earner getting well... just over the minimum wage. The costs of everything are higher, everything worth living for is "optional" or "cosmetic" but "mental" "healthcare" is a fully state/government statist subsidized legal drug and punishment racket for the weird/ugly. Don't even get me started on the military-prison-psychiatric-pharmaceutical-hospital industrial complex and "job growth".

It's the anniversary of my layoff. I don't know, I've applied to thousands by now. I'd be rich if each application turned into a penny tbh

Since March, I've been caught in this unemployment nightmare. Initially, I diligently sent out about 12-15 applications per week, investing time in crafting personalized cover letters and resume per company. I found myself ramping up to a staggering 20-30 applications weekly. Despite my efforts, only around 5 interviews. To make matters worse, most of these interviews led nowhere, leaving me feeling defeated. Although I made it to the final round for a few positions, none resulted in job offers. Now, I'm faced with the frustration of encountering the same job postings repeatedly and some scam jobs. I think it's almost 400 now!!!!

I've been applying on and off for over a year now. And it feels like everything just disappears into a freaking void. I am so sick and tired of applying to jobs, I just want it to be over. At this point, I feel like I've applied to at least 500...if not 700, honestly after some time, there's not even any point in counting. But I keep on telling myself I just need one job...
