what skills do you usually list on your resume?

put the stuff you actually wanna do. i once listed Excel and got stuck in spreadsheet hell for 2 years 😩 now I only list what I enjoy.
Honestly? I just copy the skills from the job listing if I actually know them. ATS bots love that. ChatGPT definitely stays on there now tho 💅
I used to leave that section blank but once I added: “email etiquette, Slack communication, adaptability” weirdly I got more callbacks 👀 idk.
Yeah def list tech stuff but tailor it. I rotate mine based on the job: SQL, Python, Jira, Git, APIs. No point saying “multitasking” on a dev resume imo.
I always put stuff like Notion, Canva, Airtable, and GSuite. Seems basic but I’ve had interviewers specifically bring up my Canva work lol.
fixing up my resume (again 🙃) and I’m stuck on the skills part. I’ve seen people put things like time management, Excel, even ChatGPT. but idk if that stuff matters anymore. do recruiters actually read that section?? would love to know what y’all list and if it’s ever helped you land interviews.
