AECOM is seeking a PS&E Project Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is critical to our organization's success in delivering high-quality transportation projects.
As the PS&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and projects efficiently and effectively.
Driving revenue growth through successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Ensuring projects meet or exceed profit margin targets and are completed without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Overseeing projects with Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Managing complex client relationships and project dynamics to maintain smooth operations.
Making critical decisions and providing guidance to other Project Managers on risk management and uncertainty reduction.
Directing staff to minimize exposure to potential claims and ensure project integrity.
Supervising and coordinating multiple Project Managers across various projects or programs.
This position requires a high level of expertise in PS&E project management and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in the transportation sector.
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 6 years or more of relatable or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E).
TxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Freeway Interchanges, Bridge Design, Multi-Level Interchange Design, Bridge Class Culverts, Signing & Pavement Markings, Illumination, Rail-Highway Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities, Hydraulic Design, Environmental Studies, and Transportation System Planning).
Experience with Business Development/Client Relations.
Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews.
Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits.
Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development.
Good communication skills and ability to manage a team.
