Learning Objectives

  • Understanding the history of commercial design and workplace evolution.
  • Familiarity with AWC's mission, values, and commercial furniture specifications.
  • Acquiring knowledge of interior design best practices and creative solution development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in creative solution development and product specification.
  • Assist with acquiring samples, finishes, and rough budgeting.
  • Contribute to test-fits, space plans, pre-proposal meetings, and presentations.
  • Create renderings, visuals, and presentation materials.
  • Shadow installation days and participate in site visits before, during, and after project completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and project management.
