Senior Manager UX Design

As a Senior Manager, you’ll connect design with business goals, set experience KPIs, and drive innovation that enhances both customer and merchant satisfaction. You'll translate strategic vision into delightful products, identify game-changing opportunities through research and market trends and lead a talented team.

Your main responsibilities

  • Ensure that Allegro centers around Customers. You connect design to business and product goals. You set customer/merchant experience KPIs to impact relational NPS, C-index and other experience metrics.

  • Translate Allegro strategy into products that delight our Customers and Merchants. You contribute to the product strategy by shaping and propagating long-term experience vision to meet Customer Promises / Merchant Principles and deliver business value.

  • Make Allegro experience outstanding. Based on extended knowledge you have from internal and external research, market analysis and other sources (i.e., data analysis, trend monitoring), you regularly identify and convince to invest in business opportunities that can truly put us ahead of the competition - make Allegro experience outstanding.

  • Manage a mid-size team of (senior) design leaders and design specialists to execute experience vision and to ensure that the product portfolio serves the most impactful customer needs. Secure budget and resources for the team based on a clear value proposition.

  • Ensure that the product and project portfolio serves the most impactful customer needs. You define methodologies, oversee research, and strategically define which quant and qual data will be gathered, and how. You help executive management decide whether the problem is worth solving.

  • Prioritize efforts and structure team capabilities to solve complex problems, sometimes in uncharted spaces. 

  • You raise the quality bar at a program and portfolio level. Oversee deliverables and timing across projects, ensuring developers have everything they need to build remarkable solutions.

  • Experience in qualitative research like conducting interviews, focus groups, usability testing

  • Experience in quantitative research like surveys, cart sorting

  • Ability to convert insights into actionable recommendation

  • Planning the priorities between different areas’ requests

  • Aligning design with business goals, set experience KPIs and enhance customer and merchant satisfaction.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and synthesising skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product plans. 

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders of various levels.

  • Structured way of working

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills (Polish & English min C1)

  • Experience in lead a mid-sized team of design leaders, secure resources, and ensure top-quality execution of experience vision.
