Job Description

As a Security Professional - Distribution in Schertz, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

In the role of Access Control Officer within the logistics and distribution sector, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license as per AU Driver Policy Requirements. Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to clients by implementing access control procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
• Engage in emergency response activities when necessary, maintaining a composed and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct both scheduled and random patrols around the premises and its perimeter, adapting to varying conditions at different locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm demeanor, focusing on resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure environment, addressing any security-related incidents promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is a preferred qualification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
