The Chief Technology Officer Organization’s vision is to raise the bar for technical excellence, talent, strategy, and standards across Technology. It also seeks to cultivate and foster technical innovation, as well as elevate and amplify the technical heartbeat of the organization.

You’ll be part of the Digital Payments Engineering team whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms for American Express customers.  Payments Engineering’s aim is to build interactive experiences at all touch points of a consumer's journey whether before, at, or after the time of purchase.  The products will range from new payment vehicles and partnerships with other payment entities to interactive mobile experiences.

How will you make an impact in this role?

• Responsible for building data pipelines using Google cloud platform services, ensuring data is processed efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize Big Query for querying large datasets and optimizing performance.
• Utilize Pub/Sub for real-time data ingestion, enabling our systems to handle high volumes of data with low latency.
• Working with Sql queries to extract insights from the date to help stakeholders make data driven decisions.  
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in related fields
• Proven technical capabilities and ability to work collaboratively and optimally with a range of stakeholders
• Worked in a product company
• Knowledge of developing trends and emerging standards in payments domain
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
