Job Summary –
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support and enhance an Excel-based tool by integrating it with Databricks, improving data views, and making it scalable for broader business use. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, reporting, and process automation, with an emphasis on optimizing workflows and delivering actionable insights through reports and summaries.

Technical Skills:
• Maintain and enhance an Excel-based tool, ensuring seamless integration with Databricks to automate data updates and improve efficiency.
• Improve data views and dashboards, making them more intuitive, insightful, and scalable for various stakeholders.
• Work on scalability solutions to expand the tool's functionality and adaptability across teams.
• Develop and automate reports and summaries, translating complex data into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, business teams, and stakeholders to ensure the tool meets business needs and evolves with changing requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Provide documentation, training, and support to ensure end-users can effectively use the tool and reports.
Required Qualifications:
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and VBA
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL for querying, data transformation, and analysis
• Strong experience with Databricks and other SQL-based platforms for large-scale data processing and analytics
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar analytical role
• Proven track record of automating processes and improving data pipelines to drive efficiency and scalability
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Python, SQL, or Spark for data manipulation and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data governance best practices.
Behavioral Skills:
• Very good communication skills
• Should be very interactive and top on deliverables being working from client environment.
• Ready to learn new tools and technology in related area.
Certifications Needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science
