Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

As an Events Marketing Manager, you will join the fast-paced events marketing team and will constantly be looking for new ways to support our sales and growth marketing organizations. You will partner with our events and growth marketing teams to seamlessly execute new and exciting revenue-driving events. Our events marketing programs contribute directly to BILL revenue by fueling our sales teams with quality leads to deliver new customers for financial operations products. Through these programs, we have the opportunity to network with existing customers for relationship building and provide opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. BILL events are a collaboration of cross-functional teams to showcase our brand, new products, and drive revenue. The ideal candidate has experience supporting large-scale corporate events from start to finish, and is a self-starter who can prioritize workload with shifting priorities. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new event opportunities for the BILL growth marketing teams
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and venues for events
  • Process contracts, vendor onboarding, generate POs, track budget spend, and manage invoices
  • Work directly with vendors to execute all program requirements for each sponsorship opportunity in event portals
  • Update and maintain the events calendar
  • Work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams for event staffing, registrations, and communication
  • Coordinate event shipments and procure/manage event swag and team uniforms
  • Manage local field event programs, including regional dinners, event activations, securing locations, and menu planning
  • Manage post-event surveys and analysis and continually improve event programs based on this feedback and industry best practice

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing events at all scale from tabletop exhibits to large scale events (20x20)
  • Proficiency in Asana, SFDC, Marketo
  • Setting up customer programs, city roadshows, dinner programs, partner events
  • Knowledge of the fintech industry
  • Ability to pivot with a sense of urgency/humor
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
