Bitewell is seeking a Technical Product Manager – Systems to define and build the foundational technical infrastructure that supports our platform. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will oversee the development of internal tools, scalable backend services, and integrations that power our food and health intelligence. What You'll Do

  • Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and execute the roadmap for core system infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering capabilities.

  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to design scalable, well-documented backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines.

  • Requirements Gathering: Write detailed product requirements and user stories that provide clarity on system functionalities, performance needs, and security considerations.

  • Scalability & Performance: Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to optimize performance and reliability.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with other product managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integrations and data flow across teams.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that our technical infrastructure follows best practices in security, compliance, and data governance.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and system metrics to improve efficiency and performance.

Additional Details

Location: San Francisco, Hybrid

Compensation: $140K-$155K with flexibility based on your experience and qualifications. Total compensation package includes equity & bonus and full benefits package.
