Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Services team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team, working alongside physicians and fellow RNs to provide life-saving care to patients in critical conditions. With an average of 65 patients per day and over 25,000 annually, no two days are the same in our ED. Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse population, including geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Collaborate with a team of 2-4 RNs and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
Respond to emergencies, stabilize patients, and prioritize care based on acuity.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Shifts:

Primarily 12-hour shifts, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the department.
Various shifts are available, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience: Previous critical care or emergency department experience is highly preferred.
Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
