As a member of the Blue Origin family of companies, Honeybee Robotics has been at the forefront of robotics for over 40 years. Our Colorado location specializes in creating advanced motion control solutions for NASA, defense, and commercial programs. Our work has played a critical role in thousands of projects, spanning from conceptual design studies to flight missions, including NASA's Artemis I Mission and the Roman Space Telescope. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will support the development, design, test, and manufacturing of Honeybee Robotics’ electronic Motion Control products.
You will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams to implement board and system level electronic designs. You will own individual design tasks, participate in design reviews, create appropriate documentation, and occasionally interface with customers in a technical role. This may also include reviewing the work and tasks of more junior engineers.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Experience designing motion control and electromechanical systems for space environments
Successful history of mentoring junior engineers
Experience with:
o EEE-INST-002 and radiation-hardness/mitigation
o Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
o Generation of technical proposal content and labor/cost estimation
o Altium Designer
Familiarity with:
o DSP and Microcontroller firmware development in C
o FPGA Design (Verilog and VHDL)
o System and functional requirements generation
Compensation Range for:
CO applicants is $116,323.00-$162,851.85Other site ranges may differ
