Business Insider is hiring a Social Media Video Fellow to join our Audience team. This fellow will distribute videos across various social networks and ensure our episodes reach our viewers.

The Business Insider Fellowship Program is for early career journalists who want to spend six months learning from a newsroom full of passionate, dedicated journalists. Fellows are assigned to teams and become experts in digital storytelling. They produce real work that is distributed to our audience of millions, and by the end of six months, they are prepared for the next phase of their journalism careers. This paid role requires you to work for 40 hours a week. Fellowships can be hybrid, and we expect New York-based fellows to come into our offices at least twice per week.
The Role & Team:
As a Social Media Video Fellow, you will be responsible for distributing new videos and stories on social channels as they are published, as well as recirculating dozens of evergreen archive videos per day. We work with content from all verticals, including breaking news. The ideal fellow must be an independent worker. Note: this is NOT a video editing or production role.
This fellow will report directly to the Senior Audience Engagement Producer and is required to work at least two days per week out of Business Insider’s New York City bureau.
