IT Business Relationship Manager SAP PTP, EWM, IBP- CuraScript

CuraScript SD a specialty pharmaceutical distributor that provides customized business solutions and access to specialty drugs to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Evernorth – a Cigna Company.

CuraScript SD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to join its technology team.

The BRM will serve as a strategic partner and share ownership for both business strategy and business value results. The BRM owns the leadership relationship and serves as a single point of focus for the procure to pay, warehouse management, and supply chain planning functional solutions (PTP, MM, IBP, EWM) where they will surface and shape demand for business and technology capabilities, while ensuring the anticipated value from those capabilities are captured, optimized, and recognized. This is achieved by partnering with appropriate resources to facilitate the creation of idea documents, business cases, requirements, and value plans; ensuring value optimization and communication; and enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people around them.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in the Supply Chain function, have in depth knowledge of the capabilities and business processes, have a solid understanding of the up/down stream process and data connections, and have awareness of industry best practices and trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business leaders to articulate their function's needs and requirements to advance business performance

  • Maintain multi-year business/technology capability roadmaps

  • Partner with organizational change management to ensure effective business transformation for all initiatives

  • Partner with the PMO to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio

  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate proposals, align them to business capability roadmaps and priorities

  • Measure adoption and work with business leadership to develop future roadmap and opportunities

  • Identify and integrate business partners' long-range plans into business capability roadmaps and priorities, as appropriate

  • Brief stakeholders on business partner plans

  • Focus on business value including risk assessments, business continuity, and business capability requirements.

  • Advocate for an awareness and focus on business partner strategic plans

  • Correlate business value and priorities to planning activities and goal setting

  • Engage as a project stakeholder by evaluating project efforts and progress against strategic plans and objectives

  • Be creative and innovative with regards to your knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs

  • Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication; includes managing escalations and avoiding risk.

Overall Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, management information systems, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in warehouse management, distribution, inventory management/planning, logistics, 3PL, transportation management

  • 5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives

Additional Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration, or Master of Supply Chain Management preferred

  • Big four experience as a Consulting Manager preferred

  • Experience in sourcing and procurement preferred

  • Experience in supply chain planning and management preferred

  • Experience in wholesale pharmaceutical distribution or life sciences preferred

  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA and/or SAP EWM preferred

  • Experience in ERP configuration preferred

  • Business Relationship Management certifications – BRMP, CBRM, or MBRM – preferred

  • Supply chain certifications – APICS, SCOR – preferred


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 116,800 - 194,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
