Under direction, the IST Analyst II (Report Writer) will be responsible for supporting the clinical reporting process and reporting needs. Duties include creating and modifying clinical reports, report writing training, issues troubleshooting, analytical assistance and fostering of best practice across system users. This person must be able to function under deadlines and may be subject to heavy workloads.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Three (3) plus years’ experience writing SQL statements and accessing relational database system. Experience with analytic business intelligence tools such as Crystal, Business Objects. Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. Familiarity with database design and programming. Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and manage multiple projects. Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Direct experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
