Serving in a role that s equal parts administrator, educator, and leader, the Risk Manager will play a central role in the effective and efficient operations of this award winning and nationally recognized Hospital.
Reporting to the Director of Quality, Risk, and Accreditation, the Risk Management Manager will develop, implement, and evaluate programs that address issues at the core of every acute care hospital environment; issues such as patient and staff safety, the collection and reporting of risk / quality data, ensuring that the organization is following proper compliance processes, and acting as one of the leads for TJC Survey proceedings and accreditations.
Other responsibilities that the Risk Management Manager will take on are keeping track of legislative trends, following the impact they may have on healthcare. The ideal candidate has a background in hospital / healthcare Risk Management strategies, policies, and procedures, and a Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
