Risk Manager

A reputable medical center in Eastern Arizona is actively interviewing for a Manager to oversee their Hospital Risk Management Program. Join this experienced leadership team in a challenging and exciting role that will help pave the road to outstanding performance for years to come.

This health care system is looking for a strong manager to promote and sustain an integral department. Serving in a role that s equal parts administrator, educator, and leader, the Risk Manager will play a central role in the effective and efficient operations of this award winning and nationally recognized Hospital.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, Risk, and Accreditation, the Risk Management Manager will develop, implement, and evaluate programs that address issues at the core of every acute care hospital environment; issues such as patient and staff safety, the collection and reporting of risk / quality data, ensuring that the organization is following proper compliance processes, and acting as one of the leads for TJC Survey proceedings and accreditations.

Other responsibilities that the Risk Management Manager will take on are keeping track of legislative trends, following the impact they may have on healthcare. The ideal candidate has a background in hospital / healthcare Risk Management strategies, policies, and procedures, and a Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM).
