Civil Engineer- Land Development

Our client is experience great growth and in search of a Licensed Professional Engineer (3-7 years’ experience), with Private and Municipal experience. Serve on our team as a capable and efficient engineer and make major design determinations under the general direction of the Senior Engineers at our Marple and/or Valley Township offices. Experience should include but not be limited to Chapter 102, NPDES, Chapter 105 permitting, familiarity with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4), as well as Subdivision and Land Development.

 


Responsibilities
  • ·         Preparation of Subdivision and Land Development Plans.
  • ·         Grading and Utility (water and sanitary sewer) design.
  • ·         Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control design and reporting.
  • ·         Stormwater Management design and reporting.
  • ·         Road alignment and profiling.
  • ·         Agency Permitting in support of various projects (Chapter 102, NPDES, Chapter 105, FEMA, etc.)
  • ·         Quantity take-off and cost estimating.
  • ·         Assist with Municipal Engineering projects.
  • ·         Construction Surveillance.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE license required.
  • Proven working experience in civil engineering, including 3-7 years of land development design
  • Experience with site layout design including grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, sanitary sewer, and stormwater management
  • Familiarity with Federal, State & County regulations pertaining to approval process
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, including proven experience working on multiple projects in a timely & cost-effective manner
  • Strong technical skills and a knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD
