Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide our agile teams toward successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background as a Scrum Master, with the added advantage of prior experience in software testing or a relevant background in psychology. This unique combination will ensure efficient sprint execution and enhance communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and support the team in agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
  • Identify and remove obstacles that impede project progress.
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Promote the culture of continuous improvement, team collaboration, and open communication.
  • Utilize experience in software testing to support quality assurance practices.
  • Leverage psychological insights to nurture team cohesion and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in software testing OR a background in psychology is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English is a must, while proficiency in French is a plus.
