Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled technical UX Designer to join the Digital Systems team at Xfinity Creative. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing Xfinity’s visual identity to life at scale.

This role is focused on maintaining, expanding and auditing our multiplatform digital marketing design system, Helix. Our system sits across media touchpoints in digital display, social, OLV and email and helps scale our brand with cohesion, efficiency and speed.

You’ll be joining a small, multidisciplinary team that works in a highly coordinated manner, facilitated by our digital program manager. Contributions to the system are managed visually and technically, and integrated with diligence, ensuring the system develops in a sustainable, scalable and trusted manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, with expertise in creating innovative web and UI solutions using Figma. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Contribute a small team that is responsible for producing, updating, and managing contributions to the design system
  • Lead the technical build out of design components in Figma. Design user-centered prototypes, user flows, wireframes. Work in a mobile-first, digitally responsive manner for digital marketing.
  • Contribute to design and platform updates to the system and the corresponding documentation
  • Contribute to initiatives in partnership with creative and design teams and other members of Xfinity Creative 
  • Contribute to the team’s file organization and workflow in collaboration with our digital project manager. Contribute and design internal presentations for our team, communicating the value and impact of the work to various stakeholders, throughout the organization
  • Contribute to system documentation and communications, tailoring for various audiences ranging from design practitioners to members of senior leadership teams

Additional Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio that shows expertise in digital, with a track record of successful design projects. 
  • Expertise in Figma, with a deep understanding of its advanced features for designing, prototyping, and collaborating. Familiarity with design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and responsive design practices. Expertise in Adobe CC and PPTX. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Comfortable developing and presenting work to team and partners.  
  • Organized, proactive and able to work autonomously with guidance as well as collaboratively within a small team. 
  • Analytical skills with a creative approach to solving complex design challenges. Interest and curiosity in emerging platforms and technologies, as it relates to the design system. 
  • Experience in digital production – developing creative to various specs and requirements across media while maintaining consistency, quality and resolution at scale. Experience working with or on multiplatform design systems is a strong plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is a plus.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $112,055.44 - $168,083.16

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
