Extrusion Crane Operator 2nd Shift

JOB DETAILS 

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm 

The pay range starts at $17 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential 

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILIES 

The Crane Operator is responsible moving material in and out of the crane way and communicating issues back to Packers and Supervisors in a timely manner. This position reports to the Scheduling Supervisor/Value Stream Manager.

  • Certification on Overhead Crane
  • Perform the requirements of crane and cleaning checklist
  • Performs loading and unloading trucks
  • Crane vinyl bins from Extrusion in Crane Area; material to be placed in inventory by part number.
  • Assures that the bins are properly stacked warehouse (Max.6 high)
  • Knowing correctly how to check packer arrows for direction for packers to pull out bin for bin to be place correctly in crane area
  • Crane all empty bins of saw lines and replace with new bin
  • Perform inventory scans
  • Supply packers with empty bins and Foam table with material
  • Operate tow motor and grinder
  • Flexibility to fill in for other crane operators when they are on vacation/out sick
  • Housekeeping in all areas
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills
  • Proficient in the use of computers
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience running a Crane/ Forklift

Including, but not limited to, bending, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting, squatting, reaching and handling objects; and stan
