Tax Analyst
The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes
- Prepare corporate income tax returns and GST/VAT returns
- Maintain tax administration tools such as cash tax trackers and professional fee budget trackers with a high level of accuracy
- Prepare and input tax and transfer pricing journal entries into the enterprise accounting system
- Liaise with local and overseas colleagues and external tax services providers with regard to tax filings, tax projects and handling tax queries
- Keep abreast of rules and regulations on tax across different jurisdictions and understand their implications on the group
- Conduct research into crypto/corporate tax/indirect tax/TP topics independently or/and with third-party
- Other ad hoc tasks as requested
- B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance, economics, business required; advanced degrees, including CPA a plus
- Ideally 3+ years professional work experience in accounting and tax; Transfer Pricing and crypto tax experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills with proficient knowledge of pivottables and data manipulation Excel functions
- Possess experience or exposure in HK corporate taxes or international tax
- Possess experience working with stakeholders and colleagues overseas
- Able to understand tax issues in precise and simple languages
- Excellent analytical, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Extremely detail oriented with an ability to multitask in a high growth environment
- Passionate about start-ups and the growth of digital assets and has a desire to commit a long-term career in the industry
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Good to have crypto knowledge
- Always have a positive working attitude and willing to take on tasks
