We are seeking an exceptional Lead/Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial analytics. They will play a critical role in driving the financial performance, reporting, and strategic decision-making for the organization and will own key workstreams, processes, and will have high visibility to executive leadership and the board. 


Financial Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Own and lead month-end close, forecasting, and board reporting cycles in partnership with Finance leadership. 
  • Own and lead the 3-statement financial model provided to Shareholders. Develop additional supplemental models to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.   
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, and provide insightful data-driven financial analysis to support strategic decisions.  
  • Lead cross-functional forecasting and budgeting cycles, working closely with ELT to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. 


Reporting & Analytics Responsibilities:
  • Own monthly board and ELT reporting content (MBR Deck) in partnership with the CFO & Director FP&A. Effectively communicating monthly financial performance in operational terms. 
  • Develop monthly BvA (Budget vs Actual) packs for each department. Review packages with ELT partners in addition to hiring plans, key upcoming subscription renewals, new purchase requests, and other top-of-mind initiatives to support speed of decision making. 
  • Partnership with business operations, data analytics, and accounting teams to support automation of key reports (ARR Snowball, KPIs, etc..) in BI tools as well as improving and maintaining data integrity and standard operating procedures for seamless business reporting. 


Strategic Partnering Responsibilities:
  • Partner with executive leadership team in key functions to understand their financial needs and develop budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic goals. 
  • Present financial results and strategic insights to ELT partners in monthly budget reviews. 
  • Independently seek opportunities for improvement. Volunteering to support Ad Hoc analytics for ELT partners. 


Process Improvement Responsibilities:
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, speed, accuracy, and effectiveness. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, Revenue operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data and reporting. 
  • Lead the successful go-live and implementation of Vena Solutions, partnering with Accounting, Revenue Ops, to align data flows, build scalable planning templates, and utilize Vena for future planning and forecasting 


Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis. 
  • Experience within a PE backed SaaS organization preferred. 
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as well as experience with SaaS financial metrics (ARR, MRR, LTV, CAC, etc..) 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior management and business leaders to drive strategic decision-making and business performance. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Vena Solutions) preferred. 
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite) preferred. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. 


$90,000 - $120,000 a year
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
