About the Role & Team 

  • Supports Manager in developing local programming strategy and is responsible for its implementation across relevant channel portfolio.   

  • Creates and administrates monthly linear schedules based on programming strategy, ratings research, competitive analysis and regulatory guidelines.  

  • Supports creation of monthly VOD schedules based on programming strategy and affiliate commitments.   

 

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our Warsaw office and 1 day from home. 

 

What You Will Do 

 

  • With Manager’s support, creates clear and compelling program strategies to drive channel performance and deliver performance targets.  

  • Produces detailed, accurate, and competitive monthly program schedules based on in-depth analysis and monitoring of the competition. 

  • Ensures accurate and timely entry of schedules into broadcast system in observance of monthly deadlines. Issues and tracks program amendments where necessary.  

  • Is responsible for creation, communication and distribution of monthly plans and program highlights to local teams, regional stakeholders, and wider business.   

  • Provides support to communication teams and delivers the most up to date information about programming priorities.  Creates on air promotion strategy in cooperation with senior media planning specialist. 

  • Monitors content delivery dates in cooperation with regional team and external partners. Monitors completeness of localized metadata and ensures program records are entered and maintained within relevant systems and data bases 

  • Ensures that programming databases and forecasts are accurate, and all license rights are being observed (license periods, runs, blackout limitations etc.).   

  • Screens and evaluates content to identify local acquisitions opportunities.   

  • Supports creation of VOD schedules based on programming strategy and affiliate commitments.  

  • Continuously monitors competitor activity, audience trends and media relevant developments. Prepares ad hoc market / performance analysis upon request.  

  • Supports projects related to the linear programming priorities and other projects as assigned. 
     

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience of evaluating ratings. Knowledge of research reports systems will be an advantage. 

  • Knowledge of Broadcast Scheduling System and channel reporting systems 

  • Knowledge of regional TV market, competitive set and trends.  

  • Strong planning and organizational ability, able to manage projects and processes.  

  • Experience of working in a multi territory environment an advantage.  

  • High self-motivation, independent thinking and feeling of ownership.  

  • Communication, negotiation and influencing skills.  

  • An advanced command of English and Polish, written and verbal.  

  • Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and communication skills essential.  

  • Ability to adapt and learn new systems quickly.  

  • Passion for TV content, programming, brand positioning and viewing essential
