Velocity Account Executive (Hybrid)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS or consulting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a proven track record of success in managing high-volume pipelines and closing deals swiftly. While experience in security and compliance is not required, we’re looking for someone with a strong drive, a consultative approach, and a passion for working with innovative startups. This is a hybrid role with expectations to be in the New York office three days a week.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be joining a newly formed team dedicated to focusing on velocity and speed for startups, with the aim of achieving quick deal cycles.Responsible for bringing new customers on board and consistently growing revenue by exceeding revenue targets/quota
  • Quickly identify and qualify prospects based on their mission alignment
  • Accelerated Sales Process: In this role, you’ll operate in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing swift decision-making while maintaining an educational, consultative approach.
  • High-Volume Pipeline Management: You will manage a high volume of prospects and opportunities, ensuring a consistent and organized pipeline while staying agile to meet the fast-paced demands of startups and close deals efficiently.
  • Consult senior executives to discover their needs and educate them through an accelerated buying process
  • Identify opportunities to improve our product offering based on deep understanding of the needs of Velocity segment

What you’ll bring:

  • 1-2 year of experience in a customer-facing B2B SaaS Sales role required or equivalent experience
  • 1 year in a closing new business capacity preferred
  • Preferred background in the start-up space
  • Self-starter who brings ideas to life and takes pride in results
  • Resourceful, finding ways to get things done regardless of the obstacles

  • Organized and detail-oriented with an ability to handle a variety of different projects 
  • A talented communicator and a “people person” who enjoys working with others. You are thoughtful about the ways you communicate and the impact that may have on a customer. This role will receive a competitive base salary, variable compensation, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The expected range of On-Target Earnings for this role is $125,000-$131,250, subject to change.

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s leveling and compensation–including a candidate’s professional background and experience. These ranges may be modified in the future and final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
