Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking Laboratory Technicians in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Work schedule would be 11am - 8pm or 12pm - 9pm.

Position SummaryThe Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis.  Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions.  The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task.  Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Position Functions:

·         Extract/Digest environmental samples with organic solvent or Acid

·         Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure samples volumes and weights

·         Prepare standards

·         Maintain scientific logbooks

·         Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

·         AA, AS, or BS in science or related field

·         Basic laboratory experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

Requirements:

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Position is full-time Monday - Friday 11am - 8pm or 12pm - 9pm, with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Altamonte Springs, FL are encouraged to apply. 

Pay range: $18/hr

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
