Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an Internal Communications Lead to support our expanding internal communications efforts. You will play a critical part in enhancing employee engagement, strengthening leadership visibility and promoting agreement across business areas, including HR, corporate functions and technology. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications, you will help shape executive communications, support internal events, and implement projects that foster a connected and informed workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the North America CEO and senior leadership to enhance their visibility and connection with employees through live events, videos and written communications.
  • Develop and implement campus activations at our Costa Mesa headquarters, including the CM Thursday Collaboration Series and product/innovation showcases.
  • Lead internal communications for Human Resources Centers of Excellence (Talent Management, Rewards, Operations) and our corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Operations) targeted to all North America employees.
  • Manage the editorial calendar and create engaging stories for a new Microsoft Teams-based community for people leaders, providing updates on strategic initiatives and business news.
  • Work with internal communications teams across global, regional and business units to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging related to Experian's intersection strategy.
  • Track the impact of regional internal communication initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine engagement strategies.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, public relations or related fields.
  • Strong writing and content development skills (AP style), with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging and clear content for diverse audiences.
  • Experience executing large-scale employee events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Familiarity with HR, finance and technology communications and the ability to simplify complex topics into compelling internal messaging.
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools (knowledge of FirstUp and O365 tools are a plus).
  • Experience tracking communication effectiveness and engagement metrics to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
