Job Description

We are looking for an Unemployment Claims Analyst to join our team. You will process unemployment claims, meeting strict deadlines, gathering information from client contacts, working with state agencies, writing appeals, and excelling in a fast-paced work environment. You will report to our Sr. Claims Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Unemployment Claims: Review and process unemployment claims following state regulations.
  • Meet Deadlines: Ensure all claims, state calls, and determinations are processed within the required timeframes to avoid delays.
  • Gather Information: Collect necessary information from clients and other relevant contacts to support claims processing.
  • Work with State Agencies: Communicate with state agencies to resolve issues, respond to requests for information, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain Client Relationships: Provide excellent customer service and addressing their concerns promptly.
  • Team Member: Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Manage a high volume of claims and tasks while ensuring detail and accuracy.

  • Accurate in processing information.
  • Review confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field.
  • Previous experience in unemployment claims processing, customer service, or a related field.
