General Manager- F45 / FS8 Soco Lab

We are seeking a dedicated General Manager - F45 / FS8 Soco to join our Corporate Studio Team. The General Manager - F45 / FS8 Socowill be responsible for maintaining a standard of excellence in the Austin HQ studios and deliver an incredible workout experience. From onboarding and hiring new team members to leading a team of coaches, specialists, and trainers, to running classes, this position plays a pivotal role in day-to-day management of the studios, social media, member care, training classes, and driving membership sales and retention of the F45 & FS8 Soco studios.

The General Manager - F45 / FS8 Soco will:

  • Be a full-time position requiring early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on studio needs.
  • Supervise all daily operations, training and front desk personnel, and drive growth for F45 and FS8 studios.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Manage operating expenses and payroll budgets within set targets.
  • Develop and maintain high-energy studio culture through incentives and contests.
  • Execute retention strategies, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure studio tidiness, equipment maintenance, and adherence to training standards.
  • Track and report key performance metrics (KPIs) for data-driven decision-making.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage F45 coaches, FS8 trainers, and front desk membership support staff.
  • Ensure team compliance with mandatory certifications and training.
  • Plan and coordinate staff schedules for smooth daily operations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating company values and work ethic.
  • In collaboration with the Corporate Studio Sales Manager, Director of
  • Corporate Studios, and Fit House of Brands HQ, drive membership growth and retention.
  • Engage the local community to boost studio awareness.
  • Assist with onboarding and sales-related engagement as necessary.
  • Deliver high-quality F45 and FS8 classes in line with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure safe and proper use of training equipment.
  • Maintain class sizes through schedule optimization.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  • Maintain studio and building facilities to a high standard.
  • Personal Training Certificate, Mat & Reformer Certification, FS8
  • Certification, or other relevant qualifications.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Strong anatomical knowledge with a focus on safety.
  • Experience leading apparatus-based group classes with 6+ participants.
  • Deep understanding of group fitness benefits and engagement strategies.
  • Willingness to adapt to new developments in the fitness industry.
  • 2+ years of proven sales leadership in the Health & Fitness industry preferred.
  • 3+ years of management experience, overseeing hiring, training, performance management, and team development.
  • Experience managing budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, including finance, HR, procurement, and studio operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and written skills.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities to create a positive and successful environment for both staff and members.
  • Ability to implement and streamline new procedures in a fast-paced and diverse setting.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Mindbody Online, Google Workplace, and various media platforms.
