This Software Engineering role will support Device42, a company recently acquired by Freshworks in June 2024. Device42 offers a powerful, real-time view of an organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all assets. With the integration of Freshservice and Device42, Freshworks now provides a more robust IT solution, featuring enhanced IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities. This combined offering allows us to deliver even greater value to our customers, streamlining their IT management and optimizing business performance.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering Support team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Customer Support, Product Management, and Feature Teams to investigate customer reported bugs and questions. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality backend code to address these customer bugs/issues to provide real, immediate, value to our users and enhance the overall customer experience.
If you're an experienced developer with expertise in Python (Golang is a plus!) and are passionate about tackling challenging customer-reported bugs by diving deep into complex code, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
This role is based in the Greater Boston area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.
Compensation Package
$137,100 - $167,000 USD Base Salary
