Executive Assistant

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

Garney is looking for an Executive Assistant in North Kansas City, MO, to support the CEO, CFO,CPO, and Operational Presidents in our Kansas City office. This role will be the first point of contact and strategically manage the executives' time with respect to priorities, goals, and objectives. The executive assistant will work in close coordination with the Senior Executive Assistant.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage calendars for the executive leadership team
  • Assist in meeting coordination, agendas and logistics
  • Manage travel logistics and activities.
  • Manage and complete expense reports
  • Anticipate needs and proactively address them, ensuring executives and team members have the information and resources that they need to succeed
  • This role is a full-time, in person role in the Kansas City Headquarters

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • A proactive, calm, and adaptable attitude, capable of thriving in a dynamic construction environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education / Experience :

  • Mid/entry-level position, previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the construction industry a plus.
