The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Vehicle Shopping Optimization Lead to join our Vehicle Commerce Team. This role focuses on enhancing the vehicle shopping experience by leveraging data insights, optimizing customer engagement strategies, and implementing solutions that drive conversions and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for improving the customer journey, and a proven ability to collaborate across teams to deliver measurable results. What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Data-Driven Decision-Making:
Leverage performance dashboards to track KPIs, share actionable insights with the broader team, and coordinate the activation and implementation of new shopping optimization strategies based on insights.
Regularly monitor the effectiveness of strategies and recommend course corrections as needed.
Utilize A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other performance measurement tools to evaluate and refine optimization initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in vehicle shopping and consumer behavior analytics.
Optimization Strategy Development:
Understand customer needs and pain points to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Analyze customer behavior, shopping patterns, and purchase journey data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
Design, test, and implement strategies to improve the online shopping experience, including website usability and product configurations.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
A storyteller who can translate complex data into a compelling narrative that inspires action and resonates with stakeholders.
Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and product development teams to align optimization efforts with company objectives and customer needs.
Serve as a liaison between the analytics team and creative teams, ensuring data-driven recommendations are implemented effectively.
Ability to tailor communication style, frequency and approach for multiple audiences, including working teams, colleagues and leadership.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics, and the ability to analyze, synthesize, and interpret digital data.
Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Data-driven mindset with a passion for improving customer experiences.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to develop the hard and soft skills of an analytically-minded team.
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years of experience in business strategy, analysis or similar field (minimum of 2 years in analytics or research)

Familiarization with eCommerce metrics and retail concepts including conversion, revenue and order tracking, website site engagement and performance, customer feedback, loyalty and value streams.
Expertise in driving customer experience, growth, and engagement for digital products and subscription services.
MBA or equivalent experience.
