Hampton Lumber is a family-owned wood products company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. With over 1,700 employees, we operate ten sawmills in Western Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and export division. This position's primary function is to keep the facility clean and operational in order to eliminate safety and fire hazards. This is a full time position with cross training lead-ins to operate some of the advanced equipment in the facility. Work Schedule: Flexible as needed. Wage starts at $22.66 per hour ($47,132 per year before any shift differentials, overtime and production bonuses). Production bonuses are possible for every employee each month, based on the plant site's target goals.
Operator 1- Cleanup crew is just the first step towards a long list of exciting and diverse job opportunities available at Hampton. As you are trained on different jobs in each department to assist with breaks, you will gain the job experience to be able to apply internally when advanced positions with increased wages become available.
