PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

We are seeking an experienced Incedo Configuration Analyst to join our team for a 6-month temporary position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Utilization Management (UM) and medical management processes within the healthcare payer environment. Candidates with LPN/RN backgrounds and those experienced in claims processing are strongly preferred.

As an Incedo Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining the Incedo Utilization Management platform or similar tools such as InfoMC. This position requires intermediate to advanced technical skills, combined with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry and utilization management workflows.

This is a client facing role.  You will be accountable to manage deliverables according to the project schedule.

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible to meet regularly with clients or vendors and performs analysis based on the determined issues or concerns.

  • Gathers requirements if changes are needed and works with development team to ensure item build is per client’s needs.

  • Works with clients, vendors, outsourced companies, and other external personnel to resolve issues affecting systems and operations.

  • Configure, implement, and maintain Incedo or similar UM platforms (e.g., InfoMC) in alignment with business requirements and operational needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration and functionality.

  • Support and troubleshoot platform issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal system downtime.

  • Analyze data and provide insights to optimize utilization management workflows and claims processing.

  • Provide training and support to end users on the effective use of the platform.

  • Participate in testing and quality assurance processes for new configurations and updates.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer-specific requirements.

  • Collects, analyzes, and documents business and technical requirements for cross functional projects from both clients and vendors.

  • Develops testing plans and performs UAT testing prior to client releases to ensure acceptability of deployed items.

  • Runs analysis on client, vendor and departmental data and performance.  Examines, formulates corrective options, and recommends actions for peak performance.

  • Configures, tests and documents system solutions, as needed, for clients and vendor.

  • Works with client/integrated vendor or internal departments to ensure release items are fully understood and have thorough release notes.

  • May assist with onboarding process of all new clients and integrated vendors.

  • Assists, as necessary, with the integration process of all new business partnerships.

  • Reviews and analyzes processes and procedures to identify needs and provides recommendations with high emphasis on continuous improvement.

  • Daily monitors and troubleshoots systems, working cooperatively with others to achieve long term resolution of errors.

  • Leads and coordinates team in cross functional projects and achieves timely and accurate deliverables.

  • Works with other team members to provide guidance, training, and technical direction.

  • Sustains business relationships that foster open communication and are built on integrity, and mutual respect.

  • Builds and develops business relationships at multiple levels within the organization and outside with our clients and other partners.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

Requirements:

  • Utilization Management or Medical Management knowledge is required.

  • Strong understanding of claims processing within a healthcare payer environment.

  • Experience with Incedo, InfoMC, or similar utilization management platforms is required.

  • LPN/RN background is preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced technical skills, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot platform issues.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and deliver results.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare payer environment.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare-related compliance standards.

  • Prior experience in clinical data analysis or reporting.
