Join our team as a Part Time Veterinarian in the Berks County area, where you can shift from traditional clinic practices to a meaningful, in-home role. If you're seeking a refreshing change, this position could be perfect for you. With our focus on compassionate care, you’ll reconnect with pet families during their most challenging times, helping pets pass peacefully at home. Imagine having generous appointment times with minimal administrative responsibilities, allowing you to focus more on what you love—connecting with animals and their families. As part of Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you’ll enjoy a supportive workplace, emphasizing relationships with pet owners and colleagues. We prioritize a work-life balance, offering schedule flexibility with 2-5 days a week options for appointments typically between 9 AM and 5 PM. This role is not just about providing care; it's about being part of a nurturing environment where you can thrive. Your responsibilities will include providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets and guiding families in making those sensitive end-of-life decisions. Additionally, you'll be building essential relationships with local veterinary clinics while serving as an extension of their care. If you possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) with a minimum of one year practicing experience, and a valid driver’s license, we look forward to you bringing your compassionate skills to our unique team.
