Job Summary

Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions is seeking a Buyer to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to strategically source, negotiate, and procure goods and services. This position requires strong procurement experience, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to supply chain management, particularly in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute timely procurement of goods via MRP systems or direct contract requirements.
Place and manage purchase orders; ensure full compliance with procurement procedures.
Maintain accurate PO documentation and supplier cost management records.
Monitor delivery schedules, supplier performance, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
Assist with supplier sourcing, pricing negotiations, and the RFQ/quotation process.
Manage order closeout and reconciliation of goods receipts and invoices.
Address and process vendor returns and non-conformances.
Handle procurement and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects.
Interpret documentation, drawings, datasheets, and solid models to support quotations.
Support new product development efforts through supplier collaboration and part sourcing.
Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Build and maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
Perform additional tasks and project work as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required.
4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or planning.
Manufacturing or motorsports industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of metals and new product introduction is a plus.
This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.

Technical aptitude and understanding of complex technical documentation.
Excellent negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.

Independent thinker with a strong work ethic and accountability.
